Andrea Portes is a bestselling American novelist. Her novels include: ''Hick'', ''Bury This'' and ''Anatomy of a Misfit'' and the soon to be published "The Fall of Butterflies" and "Liberty." Portes was raised in rural Nebraska, outside of Lincoln. She later attended Bryn Mawr College on full scholarship. After graduation, Portes moved to the neighborhood of Echo Park in Los Angeles.
